The Palos Heights City Council will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a committee of the whole meeting about possible future law that would allow video gambling in restaurants.

The meeting was scheduled during last week's regular meet, when a motion was up for the city attorney to produce drafts of laws that would allow gambling within city limits.

The motion was not to vote on allowing gambling or not, and was tabled without a vote.
