Negotiations But No Deal In Justice Man’s Deadly DUI Case

Sam Cafi's aggravated driving under the influence case was scheduled to continue in October.

By Joseph Hosey

Attorneys and a Cook County judge got together for a closed door meeting on a Justice man's deadly driving under the influence case but couldn't reach common ground Thursday.

Sam Cafi, 29, must now return to the Bridgeview courthouse in October.

Cafi is free on $1 million bond. He was arrested following a March 2012 crash at the intersection of 95th Street and LaGrange Road.

A 28-year-old Darien man, Ryan Osowski, was killed in the wreck and three others were injured.
