Argument Over Stolen Weed Draws Police Attention

An 18-year-old Hickory Hills woman smelled like marijuana and booze when police were called to Taos Drive on July 9, according to a report.

A Hickory Hills woman was charged with drug possession after police heard her arguing about stolen pot.

Ellen Faber-Mancini, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana, having drug paraphernalia and consuming alcohol as a minor, according to a Palos Hills report.

Police found Faber-Mancini at about 11:50 p.m. on July 9 in the area of the 8700 block of West Taos Drive arguing with someone about stolen marijuana. An officer said she smelled like marijuana and had an odor of alcohol on her breath.

A search of the front seat of her vehicle turned up a smoking pipe and a medicine bottle containing a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana, according to the report.

Faber-Mancini is due on July 30 in Bridgeview court.
