Palos Heights Farmers Market

Come Celebrate National Farmers Market Week at the Palos Heights Market Wednesday August 7th from 7 AM- 1 PM.
Dr. John Principe MD of the WellbeingMD Center for Life will be the featured guest at the Community tent. He will have information about the upcoming Roadmap to Wellness program set to start this month, along with all the other classes offered at the Center. Sign up for the next Canning Demonstration featuring Tomato and Salsas will be available.

Local award winner blue grass and Irish fiddlers Katie and Kristen Bern, accompanied by guitarist and bodhran (Irish drum) player Andrew Serb, will play from 9:30 to 11 AM. Come enjoy the music and receive information about their music lessons.

Congratulations to Carol Sequin, winner of the Ball Home Canning Kit and Cookbook at the July 31st Pickles Canning Demonstration held at WellbeingMD.

Stop by the City Tent and pick up this week's recipe: Watermelon Gazpancho. Previous week's recipes will also be available. This is the last week to start a new Frequent Shopper Card. Make sure to pick up yours and have it endorsed. All finished cards will be entered into a year-end market raffle. While at the City Tent, make sure to purchase a beautiful  photo note card, featuring farmers market and Palos scenes.
