I live in Oak Forest, located in the South Suburbs of Chicago.  What I love about being a journalist is meeting interesting people with interesting stories to tell.  It's a great to know that what you're writing could either entertain or inform people.  Even if they just say, "Gee wizz, I didn't know that before."  It makes the work worth it.
