A Fond Farewell

Palos Patch editor Dan Lambert is moving on to start up a new Patch site.

I've never been very good at goodbyes, but I'll give it a try.  For the past two years it has been my absolute pleasure to serve as the editor of Palos Patch. In some ways it seems like it was just yesterday that I was driving around town taking pictures and preparing the site's directory.  Time has flown by and it's time for me to move on. Starting tomorrow I will be shifting my attention over to a new Patch site that will be launching later this month. Beverly-Mt. Greenwood will be the first Patch site in Chicago and I am thrilled to be at the helm. Introducing Beverly-Mount Greenwood Patch

We are proud to announce the latest addition to the Patch family. Beverly-Mount Greenwood will be the first Patch within Chicago.

It's an exciting time here at Patch as we are proud to announce a new site will soon be a part of the family.  Later this month, Beverly-Mount Greenwood will join the roster of Patch sites providing local coverage of their communities and a place to interact and share information with your neighbors.  This will be our first Patch in Chicago, and there's not a better place to launch it than the South Side.   You can also follow us on social media:   We are looking forward to telling stories and interacting with the residents of these true Chicago neighborhoods.
