Did You See the Palos Park Citgo Closed?

It's unclear why the gas station shut down.

A Palos Park gas station appears to have put on the brakes. Citgo, located at the corner of 80th Avenue and 80th Avenue and McCarthy Road, has closed. It's unclear what's behind the shutdown. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful. Village of the Palos Park employees have been told that the owner was considering securing a new franchise. The Citgo has been used by Palos Park police officers. A check of the station on Tuesday showed out-of-order covers on gas pumps. Join the conversation.
