SUNDAY, MAY 12 Romualdas Grigaliunas, 54, of Palos Hills, was charged with battery, according to a report. Police were called at about 9 p.m. to the area of Cour Caravelle for a report of a disturbance. A woman told police that a drunken man hit her in the face. SATURDAY, APRIL 20 Jennifer Percudani, 30, of Crestwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol greater than 0.08, improper lane use and failing to signal when required, according to a report. Police saw Percudani’s vehicle at about 3:45 a.m. swerving in the road and striking the curb in the 10000 block of Roberts Road. She was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. FRIDAY, APRIL 12 Two men were charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to a report. Michael Kelly, 27, of Palos Hills, and Paul Paleothodoros, 26, of Palos Hills, are accused of having heroin. Palos Hills police were assisting Orland Hills police regarding a retail theft that had occurred at Wal-Mart. A vehicle matching the description of one seen in Orland Hills was found in the 10300 block of 82nd Avenue. When police spoke with the two men living there, an officer reported seeing one man hand an item to the other. The item later tested positive as heroin. SATURDAY, MARCH 9 Richard Clark, 48, of Palos Hills, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, improper lane use and driving without valid insurance, according to a police report. FRIDAY, MARCH 8 Tamara Brown, 29, of Palos Hills, was charged with battery, according to a report. Brown is accused of fighting with a woman who was concerned about children throwing snowballs at cars near a bus stop. On March 7, she told the children to stop. The next day, Brown reportedly came up to the woman, yelled about disciplining her son and hit her. Police were called back to the area at 5:20 p.m. by the victim, who said Brown had threatened to damage her vehicle. Brown is due in Bridgeview court on April 4. MARCH 1 TJ Guzier, 25, of Willow Springs, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, squealing tire and driving with a loud muffler, according to a report. Police spotted Guzier's vehicle at about 4:30 a.m. near the 10100 block of Roberts Road. It was traveling fast and squealed its tires.
