FRIDAY, DEC. 28 Abdulaziz A. Abouelkheir, 27, of the 14700 block of South Arboretum Drive in Homer Glen, was charged with improper lane use, speeding, unlawful possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol, resisting an officer and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report. Abouelkheir was reportedly stopped at around 12:38 a.m. near 12900 S. Harlem Ave. for speeding and improper lane use. He allegedly failed field sobriety tests. Abouelkheir was booked and given a $3,000 bond. TUESDAY, JAN. 1 Anthony T. SATURDAY, DEC. 22 Josue Herrerea, 22, of the 100 block of Bayview Court in Steger, was charged with driving without a license, improper lane use, driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08, according to a police report. Herrerea's vehicle was stopped at about 2:31 a.m. near 12800 S. Harlem Avenue for a lane violation. Officers said the driver had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a smell of alcohol on his breath. Britt was stopped in the 12300 block of Harlem Avenue for speeding at 4:11 a.m. and submitted to field sobriety tests, police said. Updated Dec. 2, 2011 SATURDAY, SEPT. 24 Michael Kimery, 28, of the 15600 block of Laramie in Oak Forest, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage crash, failure to yield from private driveway, reckless driving and two counts of battery. Police said Kimery was in the parking lot at Trio, 11845 Southwest Hwy., around 11:45 p.m. when he punched two men with keys in his closed fist. Police noted lacerations below one man’s eye and on the other man’s chin and head. According to the report, Kimery struck another car while he was fleeing the parking lot. Christine P. O’Reilly, 23, of the 0-100 block of Woodland Trail in Palos Park, was charged with driving under the influence, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.
