Man Accused of Giving Teen Heroin Sought County Drug Treatment

A Cook County judge refused to lower the bond for 19-year-old Matthew Lefebvre on Monday, a move that would have qualified him for the county's jail-based drug rehab program.

A Palos Hills accused of providing heroin to a teen girl who overdosed twice is considering a plea deal for an alleged probation violation from a separate 2011 robbery case. Matthew Lefebvre, 19, appeared Monday in Judge Colleen Ann Hyland's Bridgeview courtroom for earlier theft case. He remains in custody at the Cook County Department of Corrections on $250,000 bond. Officials allege Lefebvre violated his probation with an Oct. 27 arrest for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and endangering the life of a child; he was arrested again for similar charges on Nov. 7, according to court records. Man Accused of Giving Teen Heroin Twice Violated Probation: Court Records

Police arrested Matthew Lefebvre, 19, on misdemeanor charges of child endangerment for allegedly supplying a 16-year-old girl with heroin, a move that appears to have violated his probation on a 2011 theft case.

A 19-year-old Palos Hills man sitting in Cook County jail after he allegedly supplied a 16-year-old girl with heroin twice violated his probation from a previous theft case, according to court records. Matthew Lefebvre received a $150,000 bond after being charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child endangerment on Nov. 7. Police also arrested Witold Studencki, 20, of Palos Hills, who is charged with endangering the health and life of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. Teen Girl Overdoses for Second Time: Police

The same man who gave her heroin last month also supplied the drug to her on Wednesday, Palos Hills police say.

A Palos Hills man is accused a second time of giving heroin to a teenage girl. Matthew Lefebvre, 19, of Palos Hills was charged Nov. 7 with endangering the health and life of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a child. Police also arrested Witold Studencki, 20, of Palos Hills. He is charged with endangering the health and life of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. Lefebvre was arrested on Oct. 26 for the same charges, along with Nicolette Martinu, 20. Police said Lefebvre had admitted to supplying the drug.
