Sunday marked a long-awaited milestone for Palos Community Hospital as 120 patients were moved from the existing hospital to the Hospitaller Pavilion.

The Hospitaller Pavilion has something new for the south suburbs.

Palos Community Hospital is introducing its recently completed, new surgical and patient pavilion. The Hospitaller Pavilion offers private patient rooms, advanced surgical suites and a more "soothing and therapeutic healing environment for patients," according to a release from the hospital.
