Palos Hills Pushes for GMO Labels on Food

The City Council is urging the state legislature to add mandatory labels on genetically-modified food, according to a report.

Pat Quinn and the state legislation to institute mandatory labeling on genetically modified food, TribLocal reports. Join the conversation. Residents should know if the modified items are in their food, Marrotta said. The rest of the council members who attended the November meeting all voted unanimously in support of the call, citing a need for "truth in labeling." California CARB fuel was close to zero ethanol in our fuel in 1992.. 1992 fuel price about $1.40 per gallon. Ethanol push from fed EPA and friends pushed ethanol to 5.6% and we paid more for our fuel. Fed EPA and Big oil refiners pushed the oxygenate to 10% and we paid more.
