Man Pleads Guilty in Teen OD Case (UPDATE)

Matthew Lefebvre, the 19-year-old man charged with supplying a teen girl heroin twice, was sentenced for violating probation on a 2011 robbery conviction. He is expected to enter a guilty plea this week on the recent charges.

Updated 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 2013 Nineteen-year-old Matthew Lefebvre pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor child endangerment for supplying a teenager who overdosed on heroin twice. According to court records, Lefebvre took the plea in late January, but the convictions won't add to a two-year prison sentence he received for violating his probation with the new arrests. Lefebvre received credit for 160 days time served in the Cook County jail. Woman Pleads Guilty to Giving Teen Heroin in OD Case

A 20-year-old woman pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor endangering the life of a child. She'll get six months of court supervision and 10 days of the sheriff's work program.

One of two people accused of endangering the life of a 15-year-old girl who overdosed on heroin reportedly supplied by the pair pleaded guilty Tuesday. Nicolette Martinu, 20, pleaded to one misdemeanor count of endangering the life of a child in Cook County Judge Patrick T. Rogers' Bridgeview courtroom. She will have to serve 10 days in the Cook County Sheriff's SWAP, a manual labor program for nonviolent misdemeanors and traffic offenders, and receive six months of court supervision. She'll also have to pay $284 in court costs. Teen Girl ODs on Heroin in Palos Hills Home

Two people are charged with endangering the life of a child.

A 15-year-old girl overdosed on heroin inside a Palos Hills home and two people face child endangerment charges. Nicolette Martinu, 20, and Matthew Lefebvre, 19, are charged with endangering the health and life of a child, Palos Hills police said. Lefebvre also faces a charge of possession of drug equipment. Police were called at 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 to 11100 S. Helena Dr. to help with an ambulance call for a teen who had overdosed. Officers found syringes, small baggies, a spoon and metal pipes lying out inside Lefebvre's room, police said. Join the conversation.
