Stagg Student Pursues Dreams in Medicine
Senior Daniel Strama plans to make a life out of helping others.
Daniel Strama dreams of becoming a cardiologist, ever since he played with a toy stethoscope as a kid. Sun-Times Media recently featured the Stagg High School senior. Strama completed a certification as an emergency medical technician, according to the feature. His interests at school extend into the sciences: “I’ve always been interested in science. It has been my best course, and I like learning about the body,” said Strama, who said he works hard to maintain his grades. The EMT course is new to Stagg, according to the article.
