Male-Female Ruse Burglar Combo Targeting Elderly in Local Area

Couple hit homes of elderly victims in Burbank and Bridgeview on Jan. 18.

Bridgeview Police are warning area residents to be on the lookout for a man and a woman who’ve schemed their way into the homes of elderly residents. At 6 p.m. Jan. 18, an elderly victim heard a knock at the front door of her home in the 7700 block of West 80th Place, in Bridgeview. When the elderly woman opened the door she saw a white female and male  standing there. The female told the elderly woman that she lives on the block and needed her help in finding kids in the area starting fires. FBI Joins Manhunt for Missing Groom in Burbank Bride Slaying

Cell phone records for Arnoldo Jiminez, charged in the murder of his 26-year-old wife, last place him in Hidalgo, TX, near the Mexican border. Burbank Police seek public's help in locating him.

The FBI has joined an international manhunt for a missing bridegroom after his new wife was found slain in their Burbank apartment hours after they were married last weekend. A federal warrant charging Arnoldo Jiminez, 30, with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued Thursday in U.S. District Court in Chicago. Jiminez was charged earlier this week in Cook County Criminal Court with one count of first- degree murder for the stabbing death of his 26-year-old wife, Estrella Carrera. (Read the federal warrant.) According to the Burbank police report, the couple was hastily married last Friday, May 11, at Chicago City Hall.
