Located next to the Palos Hills Community Resource and Recreation Center, Town Square Park is a beautiful place for allMore Palos Hills residents to enjoy. A gazebo overlooks a children's playground, which is located at the west end of the park. A concrete trail dotted with beautiful flowers and benches encircles the park leading up to the serene water fountain at the east end of the park. The tranquil sound of the water makes for a perfect place to relax on one of the many benches surrounded by a number of trees, plants and flowers. A monument dedicated to our armed forces lies next to the fountain with flag posts flying above. A field centered in the middle of the park provides an open space where visitors can throw a frisbee, kick around a soccer ball or just have an evening picnic. The park is incredibly well maintained and mixed vegetation is plentiful. Overall, this park really strikes a perfect balance between a fun place for kids and a relaxing place for adults. 
Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church

Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church has roots dating back to 1898, and has existed at its current location sinceMore 1901. The Church emphasizes the community aspect of its name. Members participate in a variety of activities, including Bible study, adult ministries, children's activities, Sunday school, choir, junior high and high school groups, mission trips, and community projects. It also hosts the Palos Park Woman's Club farmers' market on Friday mornings during the summer and fall. Pastor James Tony has led the church since 1990.

Nestled behind the Palos Park Administrative Center, the Palos Park library has been a focal point of the communityMore since 1927. The library offers numerous programs for all ages. A team of helpful librarians is always prepared to assist patrons with their research needs. The library carries books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs and books for children and adults. There are also computers with Internet access available for public use.
