OMG I love this place! The food is home made and the pizza is the best. I had chicken casadias which I probably spelled wrong, but they were the best I have ever had. The cheese is the best, you cant compare.Vote for Al's and have the best pizza in Palos the CHEESE is the secret!

Al's definitely is a truly traditional establishment. Great food & wonderful staff. They definitely put pride in their work, with every bite you'll taste it. Al's is a great place to eat at.
I started eating at Al's when they moved by our office.I have tasted quite a few of the dishes and have not had a bad one. My favorites are the pizza special and the homemade soups. The eat in part is cozy and comfortable I I have brought friends to eat there as well as made friends while eating there.The owners are friendly and welcome comments. This truly has become one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy.
We order out at least once a week from Al's and each and every time the order is perfect and the food is delicious!
This restaurant is advertised as eat-in, but I don't think I'll eat in there again. I ordered a chicken salad, a bit higher priced, but I took a chance. What I got was a ham salad. At least they fixed it.
What made it even more depressing is that It's in a strip mall next to a funeral home, so I watched people wearing black standing about right outside as I ate. Bottom line is that the food price was above average, the meal tasted average, and the dining experience was well below average.

Fabulous. Great chef. They will cook to order fitting into my dietary needs. LOVE IT!!! Lots of vegetarian specials, wonderful flavors.
