Monarch Butterfly Fest Returns to Lake Katherine

The time has come for Lake Katherine’s biggest and brightest celebration of the year.

The Monarch Butterfly Festival will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Come for the butterfly tents, vendors, music a climbing wall and other fun ways to enjoy the outdoors before winter rears its nasty cold.

Football games: The Sandburg Eagles take on the Lockport Porters at the Lockport Field Friday night at 7 p.m. The Stagg Chargers face the L-Way East Griffins in Frankfort 7:30 p.m. Friday.
