VIDEO: Contestants Shovel 'Em In at Hot Dog Eating Contest
Pop's in Palos Heights sponsored a hot dog eating contest during Palos Height's July 3rd celebration.
It wouldn't be a 4th of July weekend without a hot dog.
At Palos Heights's Independence Day celebration Sunday, sponsored two hot dog eating contest to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The winner of the first battle was Jacob Larry, of Grand Rapids, Mich. with 17 dogs eaten in 10 minutes. Watch the video above to see all the contestants in action.

Afterwards, Larry said he wanted to go home and sleep and that he got his fill of hot dogs for the weekend.
