Recycle Your Electronics at Lake Katherine

Help the nature site raise money by bringing in electronics you no longer need.

Submitted by Lake Katherine staff

Lake Katherine recently joined Funding Factory's recycling program for printer cartridges and cell phones.

This new program is a great way for all of us to help the environment and raise funds for Lake Katherine at the same time. Bring your used ink and toner cartridges, cell phones, and other small electronics (iPods, MP3 players, GPS devices, digital cameras) to the Nature Center and place them in the drop box near the front door.

The phones and small electronics do NOT need to be in working condition anymore. Larger electronics are still accepted as usual under our e-waste recycling program.

If you have any questions about our new recycling fundraising program, please contact Cecilia at 708-361-1873 or cecilia.govrik@lakekatherine.org.
