Gimme 5: For Gregory, It's Been a Labor of Love

Tom Gregory has devoted 11 years working as a volunteer in the Palos Baseball Organization.

Tom Gregory doesn't just talk about making a difference. He gets out there and makes things happen.

Gregory has dedicated much of his time over the last 11 years to the Palos Baseball Organziation. He has served on the PBO board as a trustee and has served as the league president.

He has enjoyed instilling a passion for baseball in the kids involved in the PBO, from the Pinto level, where players are just beginning to learn the fundamentals, on up through the Pony level, for the more advanced group, some who will go on to play in the high school ranks.

Gregory has seen Brad Clark, Dan Ahern, and Scott and Sean Fewkes come through PBO and go on to play baseball at Stagg. Now, he's preparing to move on, too.
