Palos AYSO Soccer Results: Week 2

Beautiful soccer weather this past Saturday. Here are the recaps of some very exciting games!

Yellow Lightning 6 Red Rangers 1

Justin Lang scored an impressive 4 goals with Conrad Paradowski and Aiden Wright each scoring one as well. Lizzie Ellsworth of the Red Rangers scored her team's lone goal. There was a lot of action on the field with both teams working hard.

Yellow Hurricanes 9 Purple Lightening 0

Hat tricks by Eamon Boyle and Aiden 0'Hara! Jack Tadevich, Owen Lally and Nathan Quintas also contributed goals towards this blow out game. Great effort by Ava McGuire in the goal.

Blue Thunder 2 Blue/Green Lightening 0

Jack Wade scored both goals for the Blue Thunder. Andrew Kaunas and Andrew Wrzesinski are credited with the assists. Great work, Blue Thunder!

Grey Thunder 7 The Flames 3

Charlie Koeppen scored 3 goals for the Grey Thunder. Teammates Evan Gallagher and Eugene Krupinski each scored 2 goals as well. Maraid O'Brien was a major contributor on the offense. Ava Zukowski, with Evelyn Fry in the goal, were a solid defense.

Yellow Fire 5 Blue Demons 2

Yellow Fire's Andrew Hoefler and Matthew Anton each score 2 goals in this nail biter game. Christian Chavez also scored a goal. Impressive goal work by Matthew Anton, Malik Haleem and Emma Valencia. Anthony Ghalan and Tyler Casey provided a solid defense. Matthew Anderzunas,Ellie White and Teagan Schied ran the offensive with skill.

Red Tornadoes 0 Blue Crew 1

Dominic DeAngelis scored the game's only goal. The Blue Crew's impressive teamwork kept the Red Tornadoes from scoring at all. Conor McQuinn was amazing in the goal, with teammates Avery Welsch and Christopher Bremner backing him up on defense.

Blue Jays 3 Abomnial Snowmen 7

Matthew Senanou scored 3 goals for the Blue Jays. Despite the Blue Jay's best efforts they failed to prevail against the Snowmen. Nick Coccaro scored 3 goals, Matt Kukulka with 2, and Liam Grady and Cecelia Light with one each. Impressive teamwork for the Snowmen sealed the win.

Fighting Peeps 1 Blue Devils 2

Fighting Peep Lukosz Janik scored his team's goal. With great team effort they were able to keep this lose within one goal. Great goal work by Sadie Triezenberg, Quinn Systma, Madison Drebing and Maksym Srama.

Maroon Madness 0 White Falcons 9

The White Falcons played an impressive game with all of the team players putting out all their best skills. Maroon Madness fought bravely, but were unable to score. Christopher Casey and Conor O'Mara put up a great offensive show.

Electric Eels 2 Fighting Cabbages 0

Justice Washington and Timmy Clancy score the games only goals. Jena Elmosa, Nathan Ceplawskes, Mary Englehart and Arun Lal working in the goal preventing the Cabbages from scoring.

Maroon Devils has a message for their opponent, The Rhinos.

Congratulations to our opponent. You played a great game. We will eat our Wheaties next week. Ashleigh Huges and Clay Bumsteads scored our goals.

Spartans 3 Electric Blue 0

Great Game by the Spartans! James Hunt, Daniel Russo and Hailey Wreza each scored a goal. Great Goalie work by Matthew Keane and Daniel Russo. Great teamwork all around!

Blue Devils 3 Opponent 4

Despite their best efforts, the Blue Devils lost their match. Pat Clancy, Abigail Compagner and Matthew McKenna all scored for their team. The rest of the team's effort kept the damage to a minimum.

Hornets 1 Stingers 7

LIllian Corso scored the Hornets lone goal. Despite the exceptional efforts of Brendan Connery, Cailin Stevens, Audrey Toomey and Mia Pagnotta, the Hornets did not prevail.

Green Scream Team 6 The Spartans 5

Close game! Andreas Christy, Josh Pappas and Patrick Stevens each scored a goal. Fellow Screamer Drake Wolan finished the game with 3 goals credited. Great passing and teamwork paved the way for this team's victory!

Traffic Cones 8 Verde Vipers 2

Traffic Cones' Samantha Sherman and Evan Schaffer each scored 2 goals. Jake Snell, Jill Zwierz, Jake Bibbiano and Trevor Piper each scored as well. Great teamwork for this game! Every Traffic Cone player either scored or assisted in goals. Verde Vipers' Patrick Sullivan and Thomas Kazanecki scored their team's goal

Blue Sonic 3 Maroon Magic 8

Five goals for Magic's Fekuda Timmermans. Tim Komperda had 3 goals to his credit. Timmy Kampert had 2 shut out quarters in the goal. Great teamwork!
