Career Cruising “Parent Portal” Presentation

The Parent Portal allows parents and guardians to monitor and comment on their child’s career development activities. From the central dashboard parents can track their child’s portfolio completion status, view their child’s portfolio, including the interests, achievements, goals, and career and education plans he or she has recorded.  For more information, please call: Rich Kowalczyk at 708-974-7447.

“Financial Aid Made Simple” Presentation

Tuesday, July 31 from 5 -6 pm in the Media Center

This presentation will be for parents and students. It will be targeted to all families, but especially seniors to be. A short presentation will highlight the major components of the Federal financial aid process and then round table specific family questions. The College Search/ The College Match Workshop

Tuesday, August 7 from 11 am to noon in the Media Center

This workshop is designed to prepare incoming senior students with the college application process. Topics will include:

- Career Cruising

- School searches

- Application completion tips

- Assistance with asking for letters of recommendation
