Patch's Guide to the 2012 Palos Hills Friendship Fest

Live music, big rides and plenty of games are just a few of the attractions at this year's Friendship Fest. Take a look at our list of all of this year's happenings.

July is in full swing and in these parts that means one thing, the Palos Hills Friendship Fest is gearing up for action. 

The four-day festival is organized by the and has grown to large proportions over the years.

The fest is setting up shop at 109th Street and 88th Avenue in Palos Hills. It will be open from July 12 - 15. Admission and parking are both free.

Hours

  • Thursday, July 12, 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. 
  • Friday, July 12, 6 p.m. - Midnight
  • Saturday, July 13 ,Noon - Midnight
  • Sunday, July 14, 1 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

There will be plenty of options including local favorites and some more exotic treats.

Carnival

Rides end a half hour before closing each night. Megapass bracelets are $40 before the fest starts, and $50 at the grounds. Armbands can be purchased for Thursday or Saturday for $20. Individual ride tickets will also be sold.

The famous fireworks display will occur at dusk on Sunday.
