Stagg Football Moms Cheer on Their Joes

Their sons played baseball together as early as fourth grade in Palos Hills, but Maria Avita and Tina Falk didn't meet until their sons, both named Joe and both juniors on the football team, were in junior high.

Joe Avita and Joe Falk got plenty of support from their mothers, even when times on the field are tough. The two football players are looking for their first victory as members of the Chargers’ varsity squad.
