Stagg Bass Fishing Team Places 1st and 3rd in D230 Bass Classic

The Amos Alonzo Stagg High School team collected about 20 pounds on the two placing boats.

The Stagg High School Bass Fishing Team placed 1st and 3rd in the Annual D230 Bass Classic on May 11th, 2013 on the Des Plaines River. 

The 1st Place boat was captained by Assistant Coach Jim Sawyer and fished by Junior Joe Brozka and Freshman Joe Vella. The boat won the Classic by catching 10.41 pounds of bass.

The 3rd place boat was captained by Head Coach Brian Jackson, with fishermen Junior Phil Kolesinski and Sophomore Cody Johnson. They caught over 9.53 pounds to take 3rd Place.
