Jake Hart was not deterred by a chilly breeze blowing across the baseball diamond.He connected for a solo home run in the first inning of Shepard's 5-4 loss to Eisenhower on Monday, May 16.

He finished with two hits in three at-bats. Dominic Coglianese also had two hits, including a double, and scored a run for the Astros.

Paul Gregory, Devin Bishop and Justin Madrigal drove in runs. But Eisenhower overcame a controversial call on the basepaths and rallied to gain a one-run victory.
