Runners Take to the Streets for First Midwest Bank Half-Marathon, 10K

Thousands of runners took to the streets of Palos Heights Sunday, May 4, for the seventh annual First Midwest Bank Half-Marathon and 10K.
Half-marathon entries topped off at 1,100 runners, while roughly 175 signed up for the 10K, according to Race Director Running for Kicks. Runners began and finished in Palos Heights, but the route also wound through Palos Park.
