Palos Heights Resident Signs Letter of Intent to Play Golf in College

The Marist senior is the first female golfer in the school's history to play for a college program.

Marist High School senior Ashley Kay signed her National Letter of Intent on Dec. 5. This represents the first-ever NLI signing for a student-athlete from the school’s girls golf program.

Kay, of Palos Heights, committed to Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn.  As captain of the girls golf team this past season, Ashley qualified for the IHSA State Finals after leading the RedHawks to their best season in program history.
