Position breakdown
Infield: First base–Junior Trent Overzet, hit .333 as a sophomore. Second base–Senior Richie Santarelli, hit .284 and led the Knights with 239 innings played. Shortstop–Junior Michael Kamp, hit .350 as a sophomore on varsity, led team with 43 hits and 19 walks. Third base–Senior Luke Coffman, led the Knights with a .358 batting average and 30 RBIs.
Outfield: Left field–Senior Brian Deckinga, hit .254. Center field–Jon Lemmenes, hit .283. Right field–Senior Jeremy Kamp, hit .298.
Pitching staff: Right-hander Trent Overzet returns after going 10-4 with a 2.53 ERA. Right-hander Jeremy Kamp was 6-5 with a 3.38 ERA. Right-hander Mike Kamp was 5-0 with a 2.24 ERA. Trent and Kamp will work from the outset as the Knights' No. 1 and No. 2 starters.
Catcher: The starter will be junior Jon Arvion. His backup will be senior Jason Vander Laan.
