Gimme 5: Palos Courts' Weik a True Force in Volleyball
Gerard Weik serves up vast knowledge of the sport as assistant director for Celtic Force and Lewis University.
Palos Courts building supervisor Gerard Weik has been coaching volleyball for the last 15 years. He has experience coaching players from ages 10 to 22.
A 1991 graduate of Lockport High School, Weik played volleyball through various park districts and became a student of the sport. He coached boys volleyball at Lockport for two years.
These days, when he's not working at Palos Courts or serving as the assistant director for Celtic Force Volleyball, he’s an assistant coach at Lewis University.
