Follow Palos Heights Hockey Star Kendall Coyne During Olympics

Follow Coyne as she vies for success with the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

Kendall Coyne will represent Palos Heights and the United States as a member of the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

Heights native Coyne, 21, was named to the U.S. Women's Hockey team and will represent her country on the biggest stage in sports. A graduate of Sandburg High School, Coyne played hockey for two years at Northeastern University.

Although she will be making her Olympic debut in Sochi, Coyne is not a newcomer to international competition. She has been part of the Team USA program for years and was a member of last year's world championship team that knocked off Canada to win it all.
