Palos Park Girls Softball

All girls are welcome in this competitive recreatioal program throuhg the South Suburban Girls Athletic League (SSGAL).  Players will focus on honing their skills, friendly competition, and enjoying the sport of softball.  In this ASA league, teams will travel to nearby towns as well as playing home games at the Village Green and Palos South ball fields.  All players are in the batting order and everyone plays at least two innings per game.  Girls are placed on teams through blind draft process.  Volunteer coaches per team are needed for each division.  Practices are once a week depending on coach availability.  Players will receive preseason softball clinics focusing on throwing, catching, hitting, and more.  Fee includes skills clinics, full uniform, field preparation, participation award, picture package, equipment, umpires, and end of season party.  There will be a $20 charge for participants who drop or register for this program after the draft.  Receive a sibling discount of $10 off per player.

Ther will be free pre-season skills clinics held on select Sundays in January-March.  Registration is required.  Pitching lessons will also be available for a fee.  More information available upon registering for the league.
