Volunteers and participants are invited to join the American Cancer Society in its effort to broaden outreach, raise funds, and bring greater awareness to a disease that affects so many of us and our loved ones – breast cancer. You can take an active role in defeating breast cancer by volunteering and/or participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a non-competitive 5K walk. Upcoming Making Strides walks are scheduled in Palos Heights & Crete in May; in Bolingbrook & Kankakee in August; and in Orland Park & Joliet in October.
