History of the Palos Preserves

The forests in and around Palos township offer countless opportunities for learning and recreation.  Yvonne Woulfe, naturalist at the Little Red Schoolhouse, will give a talk on the history and development of the forest preserves surrounding the Palos area.  Ms. Woulfe, a veteran teacher, has been with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County since 1991. Come learn about one of the area’s greatest amenities.
