The Astro Wrestling Club is a new youth wrestling organization that aims to provide athletic and academic mentorship to young athletes. The club is open to children ages 6 to 13 (current 1st through 7th graders).
The meeting will provide parents information on the club.Shepard's head football coach, Dom Passolano is organizing the club.
“Any time you see a successful football program there is an outstanding wrestling program as well." Passolano said. "Participation in wrestling will give you an edge in becoming the best possible football player. It teaches you how to battle adversity, compete, and succeed through hard work."
