Chicago Christian Girls Track Earns Bid to State
Congratulate the girls and wish them luck this weekend!
Chicago Christian High School's girls track team put in a strong showing at its sectional meet, finishing fourth out of 10 teams. Several team members also finished in the top two of their events—earning them a spot in State competition this weekend.
The 4x800 relay team of Jill VanDyk, Alyssa Bednarek, Keelin Crotty, and Cassidy VandeKamp advanced to State. Also, Jill Van Dyk will compete in the high jump and 800-meter run, while Jalyn Morrison will compete in the shot put, Rachel Janke in the discus and Breanna Kooiman in the 3200.
