Junior pitcher/first baseman Trent Overset has made a seamless transition to the varsity ranks at Chicago Christian.
Trent Overzet's first season of varsity baseball has played out like a dream season so far.
The junior pitcher/first baseman worked in relief during Chicago Christian's 8-7 victory over Immaculate Conception. He has been steady on the mound.
And, when called on to hit, he has delivered, too. He his honored today for his performance as the Patch Athlete of the Week.

When Chicago Christian made a trip to Florida earlier this month, Overzet was among the leaders for the Knights (14-3). He went 6-for-10 and hit two homers as he heated of the Knights' offense right along with the warm weather.
He hopes to work overtime this spring as Chicago Christian bids to make a run in the IHSA playoffs.
