Visit your library today to keep the kids entertained Thanksgiving weekend

What are you doing this long Thanksgiving break? We have a list of stuff we need to do from preparing for Thanksgiving dinner to putting up Christmas decorations. Before we do any of it, though, we're headed to our local library.

Our girls will help us with a lot of our to do list this week, but the reality is there will be times when we just need them to stay out of the way. We're going to use a mix of videos, CDs and books to keep them entertained when we need some time to organize without their assistance.

We're headed to the library today because there will be a good selection of items to review and take home. If we wait until tomorrow or Friday it might be a bit more "picked over" as we say. Whatever else you are doing today to get ready, be sure to put a visit to your library on your list. It's a stop that could save your sanity later.
