Trinity Ranks in US News & World Report College List

The liberal arts Christian college came in 21st among regional schools in the Midwest.

 was recently recognized in a national ranking of U.S. colleges. 

The Palos Heights-based liberal arts college ranked 21st among regional colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report for 2013.

“As we welcomed students to campus a few weeks ago, qualities that can’t necessarily be ‘ranked’ but are an integral part of our standing were evident, as professors warmly greeted students," said Provost Liz Rudenga, Ph.D in a prepared statement."Upper-class students helped new students move into the residence halls; students, mentors, and professors engaged in conversation during First Year Forum; athletes eagerly began practices and games; and students were excited to be in labs and classrooms.”

Peer assessments, graduation and retention rate and faculty resources were among the criteria used to determine the ranking.

Trinity also ranked 11th in Campus Ethnic Diversity for regional colleges in the midwest.
