For the last few years, National Honor Society officers from the Southwest Suburban Conference, including , have coordinated to participate in an annual service project. These service projects reflect the pillars of National Honor Society and give the officers a chance to collaborate with other schools.

“When you see over one hundred young people give their time to such worthy causes, you really get to see what a different one person can make in a short period of time,” said Andrew High School NHS Sponsor Lori Dee.

This year, officers worked at The Greater Chicago Food Depository. They helped clean and package over 10,000 pounds of cabbage!  These students quickly found that their service can assist the thousands of people who are served by The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
