Stagg Actor Finalist in Illinois High School Musical Awards

Allison Atkenson of Amos Alonzo Stagg High School is one of 24 finalists who competed Monday for a chance to represent the state in the National High School Musical Theater Awards.
Top Chicago theater professionals judged Atkenson’s performance along with those of 11 other female actors and 12 male actors during today’s Second Annual Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago. One male and one female actor will be chosen from the group to win an all-expenses paid trip to New York where they will represent Illinois in the national competition.
