Palos Park Girl To Sing National Anthem at Sox Game

A 13-year-old from Palos Park will be performing at this Sunday's White Sox game.

It will be a Sunday to remember for one Palos Park 13-year-old.

Alexia Chibucos has been chosen to perform the National Anthem at the White Sox game on May 27. The game starts at 1:10 p.m. and is against the Cleveland Indians.  

This Sunday's game also happens to be the second Kids Day of the season. Tickets will be available at the park for $1 for kids 13 and under when accompanied by a full paying adult. The special tickets are subject to availability.

The pregame ceremony will also feature a tribute to veterans, in honor of Monday's holiday. Sox players will be decked out in throwback uniforms that honor the 1972 team.
