Palos Heights Teen Awarded Chick Evans Scholarship

Five Marist students will have their college tuition and housing covered for four years.

A Palos Heights resident is one of five Marist students granted the Chick Evans Scholarship.

Senior Maggie Mullen, a long-time caddie at Beverly Country Club, will attend Indiana University. Other recipients are seniors Neal Lichner, Emily Maxwell, Randy Rodriguez, and Nick Wilkinson.

To be eligible to apply for a Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship, all applicants must have a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need, and outstanding character. Applicants are evaluated and compete on the above criteria for the limited number of Chick Evans Caddie Scholarships awarded annually. The scholarship covers the cost of college tuition and housing for four years at several premier universities.
