Palos AYSO Results: Week 7

U8

The Sharks 2, Purple Ninja's 1

Kate Forden and Justin Lang each scored a goal and led their team to victory!  It was a close game that looked to be a tie until Kate's goal minutes before the end of the game.  Quinn Richards score the Blue Lightening's goal.  It was definitely an intense game!

The Neon Knights 1, Green Thunder 1

This was one inspired game. Every player on both teams really gave it their all. The Neon Knights' Joey Marx brought in their goal while Lenny Kobitz scored for the Green Thunder.  Jimmy Navarette of the Green Thunder made a big statement in goal.  Mary Zielinski did the same for the Neon Knights.  Solid defense by Alvaro Hucker and Mary Englehart.  Great game everyone!

Yellow Stingers 0, Blue Thunder 6

Declan Lally, Matt Carrollo, AJ Dix and Jennifer Rizzo all contributed to the goal total.  Liam Zickert held his ground in the goal.  

The White Fire 4, The Golden Warriors 0

The Fire's Danny Ellsworth scored all four of the game's goals, with assists by Michael  Meneghini, Chistian Castro and Andrew Hoefler.  Charlie Kalousek, Cammy Helsdingen and Caitlin Stokes were great defenders.  Erin Helsdingen, Nick VanWitzenberg and Owen Donegan had great offensive strategy.  Great game! 

U10

Red Flames 5, Thundersharks 0

Dominic Deangelis, Demetrios Sacha, Lauren Hunt, Patrick O'Hara and Thomas Murrihy  all scored in this game.  Great teamwork on both sides. 

Green Machine 3, White Tigers 4

An intense game to the very end!  The Green Machine's Caleb Donahue scored all three of their goals.  Great Defense by James Murphy.

Yellow Lightening 2, Maroon United 0

James Hunt and Megan McDonnell scored for the Yellow Lightening.  The team really worked together for the win.

Blue Demons 2, Grey Lunatics 5

The Demons' George Paetow brought in two goals in their effort to defeat the Lunatics.  

U12

Black Storm 3, Golden Eagles 1

Angelina Kosmas contributed two goals while Erini Kosmas brought in another.

Jolly Green Giants 3,  Blue Man Group 3

It was a real nail biter that ended in a tie.  Sam Snell had 2 goals for the Jolly Green Giants.  Danny Russo contributed the other goal.  

Maroon Magic 7, Navy Seals 4

Michael Kaunas and Quinn Kennedy each had an impressive thee goals.  Adam Alleruzzo scored as well rounding out this high scoring game.  

Code Red 3, Rampage 2

Code Red's Paul Strieping scored two goals, in addition to  teammate Tyler Winklemann's goal.  Josh Pappas also contributed on the team's offense. 

U14

Fighting Smurfs 6,  Rubber Duckies 2

Great win for the Fighting Smurfs.  Logan Couture  and Maddie Sawertailo  made their presence known on the field with impressive goals.  Andreas Christy and Stan Wrobel  also contributed two goals each.  Alex Lyons, Michaela Petrosino and Alana Rojas also showed off their skills.  This team really knows how to work together.
