running back and linebacker John Kotis is a senior captain for the football Astros. Like the other players on his team, he wants to see Shepard qualify for postseason play and win a first-round playoff game, something the Astros haven't done in nearly three decades.
He has dreams for after high school, too.
Just like the two-way football player carries a heavy load, Kotis is considering heading down a career path that likely will keep him multi-tasking. He would like to get into the skilled construction trades, possibly as a pipefitter.
