Team USA Olympian—and Palos Heights native, District 118 alumna—Kendall Coyne visited Palos South School Monday, March 17.

With her women's hockey silver medal sparkling around her neck, Coyne signed autographs and spoke to students, encouraging them to never give up on their dreams, no matter what obstacles they encounter.

Coyne was a member of the 2014 Silver Medal U.S. Women's Hockey team, which recently battled its way to second place in an overtime 3-2 loss against Team Canada.
