Chippewa recently made the Top 20 in a list of suburban Cook County schools compiled by Chicago Magazine for its September 2012 issue. The school ranked No. 16 and was the only south suburban elementary school to make the top spots.

Graduation rates, PSAE scores, ACT composite scores and per pupil spending, according to information provided by District 230, who also had schools make the Chicago Magazine's rankings for high schools.
