Newsworthy: School Official Highlights Chippewa's Achievement

Mary Lynn Duffy, an assistant principal for , see the "partnership" that exists between the school's parents, student and teachers. It's that relationship, Duffy said, that makes the difference for .

"It’s a partnership. It’s a team effort and we’re really lucky," Duffy said.

Chippewa recently made the Top 20 in a list of suburban Cook County schools compiled by Chicago Magazine for its September 2012 issue. The school ranked No. 16 and was the only south suburban elementary school to make the top spots.
