Marist Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Students athletes contributed to winning Redhawk football program.

Eight Marist High School football players signed National Letters of Intent  during a signing ceremony at the school of Wednesday.

The athletes were great contributors to the Redhawks football program. Their letters confirm their enrollment at their respective colleges during the 2014-15 academic year.

  • Defensive linemen Isiah Bickhem (Midlothian) and Adam Miller (Chicago) will both attend Concordia University-St. Paul, MN.

  • Qiarterback Jack Donegan (Orland Park) will attend John Carroll University,

  • Linebacker David Nelson  (Oak Lawn) will play for St. Joseph’s College-Indiana.

  • Defensive end Marcus Pitts (Chicago-Ashburn) will attend Robert Morris University.

  • Mitch Schleyer (Orland Park), a guard, will attend University of Dayton.

  • Ryan Tucker will take on punting duties at University of Illinois at Champaign.

  • Nic Weishar (Midlothian) will play for the University of Notre Dame.

  • Parents, coaches, and administrators were on hand for the ceremony. Six other players plan on making college decisions in the coming weeks and officially commit to football programs.
