Gimme 5: Stagg's Hartigan Serves as Coach on Volleyball Court

Matt Hartigan has been the captain of Stagg's volleyball team since the start of the 2011 season. The senior setter added a new title to his resume in a recent summer league play at Palos Courts.

"It's hard," Hartigan said of playing the role of coach on the court. "You can't always be the good guy."

He was able to lead his team to two victories last Wednesday. And is not only a leader on the court, but he's also a leader in the classroom. Hartigan ranks in the top 10 percent of his class entering the 2011-12 school year.
He hopes to enter the medical field in some capacity and plans to study at the Univesity of Pennsylvania.
